001 - Network/action - Get along little dinosaurs?
[The network startles to life with a riot of noise. Shouts. Gunshots. The sound of large animals trumpeting and snarling.]
.. are you insane? STOP SHOOTING!
CRASH
Some idiots decided to rile up the dinosaurs and they're currently stampeding through old town Chicago and the gangsters.. [Cue a pause to hear the sound of a tommy gun going off in the background] are taking exception to this. Anyone within the sound of my voice who can help get civilians out of harms way, I need you down here. Everyone else stay clear. I repeat stay clear!
[Dinosaurs and gangsters. Yep. He's got this.
He'd better because Oliver is up and moving back into the fray.
At least it's better than sitting around.]

Call All Legends; And On Scene
Sara doesn't answer Oliver's network itself, for the public to hear, just takes off at a sprint from what she was doing, which was basically frowning at her ship and trying to find the next way to handle her sentient AI gone rogue into a new version of itself that was almost worse than Rip's passcoded, trying to actively kill them, version of itself.
The screaming, firing guns, and roaring is audible a few streets away. The scene itself is insane, but honestly, it's almost as much a relief to have a clear goal of what to do -- which at this moment is slamming herself between some woman and small dinosaur leaping at her face.
She'll pretend there's not something viscerally satisfying to the confused anger that sends it down under her weight, crashing into the ground and not the woman, before it's scrambling to find it's feet and try and take a bite out of her shoulder.

The entire street is chaos. Angry gangsters firing at anyone and anything that moves, confused massive herbivores charging in response and angry predators looking to make a meal out of any stragglers.
An arrow sings through the air, catching the smaller dinosaur in the flank and it screeches in protest, wheeling on the figure in green with an angry hiss. Oliver springs onto a nearby cart, drawing and firing again, picking off another intent on making a meal out of a frightened family.
Sara's here.
She'll back him.
They've got this. Dinosaurs and gangsters be damned.

Reach for it and snap it out, in the same motion that brings it around, bashing the end of it into the dinosaurs head. To push herself back, with a smirk tossed toward the car, even as she's snapping out the second and looking for the next closest target. "You really should stop trying to make friend with my friends."

Still All, Just Multiple Shot
She's out of breath, and obviously mid-action, but when does that stop her? ]
I need people on the gangsters. Someone stop them from encouraging the riot.
Take them, or their toys. They shouldn't be game for playing with the dinosaurs after that.

And a moment of work had him depositing a pile of still hot bullets that he'd had to catch near the guy who'd called for help. "They really need to learn about gun safety..."
no subject
So. Fast then.
The streak of lightning is almost impossible to keep up with, but he's getting the civilians out of harm's way and right now that's more important than figuring out how he did that.
A wry look. "Then I guess it's up to us to teach them."

"You want guns or lizards? Been a while since I had to do a round-up like this. And I forgot my lasso," he asks, the last added with a smirk.
no subject
Dinosaurs on the other hand? "Think you can herd the bigger ones out of the area? Then we can run clean up on whatever's left."

"Anyone think it might be a good idea to build a fence?"

So it turns out Palmer did put that intelligence to some good use.
"I've seen Jurassic Park, that never works out for them in the end." Draw. Aim. Fire. Drive them back again.

"Or you know, when you say you've paid no expense, pay to screen your staff better." Oh, look, a T-rex. He's got that.
no subject
Good Ray. You take that T-Rex.
Oliver will scatter the raptors in the meantime and drive them towards the forest, away from the few civilians cowering in a store that had only been partially caved in after an ankylosaur had barreled into it.

[Voice]
You've got two more gangs incoming. One looks like it's from the 50's and the other looks like ... is that Al Capone? Yeah, that's Al Capone.
I'm on my way to help with evacuation.
[Voice]
Any movement from the Mongol camps a few blocks over? We don't need this turning into a war.
Re: [Voice]
Of course, that doesn't mean that she doesn't worry about him. Especially when he's in the field.]
I almost feel sorry for Capone.
[There's a short pause as she checks on the cameras where the Mongols are.]
No sign of movement, but I'm pretty sure I can spook them in the other direction. Mongols being superstitious and all.
Do you have enough backup, or should I start making calls?
[Who, exactly, she'd call, she's not sure, but she'd still make calls anyway.]
[Voice]
I put an all call on the network. Sara's here with the Legends. If Ray can keep moving the bigger dinosaurs out of the main city we should be able to put this down in a few more minutes.
Careful Shots from the Side
He can see others arrive, and he scans for some way to help. Spotting a lone gangster who is raising a Tommy gun to fire on, well, everything, Martin slips behind him and sucker punches him in the back of the head.
Catching the man, he sets him to one side, liberates his Tommy gun and pistol and carefully looks out on the scene. With care, he begins picking off smaller dinosaurs that are after human prey, choosing to take out ones on the outskirts when he can so as to not cause more chaos within it.
It's only when he spots another mobster armed with a Tommy gun about to gun down both dinosaurs and civilians that he takes aim, and takes out the man's kneecap, mentally thanking the others for target practice training as the man goes down with a wail, to one side, out of the way.
And then he is aiming again, carefully picking out targets. When he can, he picks out dinosaurs or people aiming at his comrades, watching their backs, so to speak.

They can always do introductions later when creatures aren't trying to take a bite out of them and gangsters are taking shots at anyone and everything that moves.
no subject
"Canon! West side!" he takes a few shots to keep the men scrambling, but he has a bad angle at it.
Legend's Comm from Sara (No response needed)
You've got to be kidding me.
[ Except she knows he wouldn't. Not in a fight. ]
Here comes trouble (No response needed)
